We are drawing near to the end of 2015. It’s been quite the year for me! This blog was born this year, and I’m excited about how far I’ve come and all of the things I’ve learned since launching in early August.
So just like any great sitcom will run a clip show from time to time, today this blog is going to share a list of the best of Medium Sized Family in 2015.
My number 5 most popular post was a little off topic for this blog, but one close to my heart (since I have so many family members that live with Celiac disease). It’s called Are You Aware of the Warning Signs of Celiac Disease? The fact that millions of Americans are suffering the effects of Celiac and have no idea that they have this disease means that everyone should educate themselves on the symptoms. Celiac is an autoimmune disease, and ignoring the symptoms can mean dire consequences.
For number 4, the series called 7 Days of Finding Money for Christmas Presents is full of ways to earn and save money for gift giving. If you started this now, your budget for next Christmas will thank you! And if you have a different goal in mind, these tips can help you meet that, too.
At number 3, my collection of 10 Amazing Side Dishes for Your Thanksgiving Pot Luck continues to be popular. These recipes are delicious and would be wonderful to take along to a pot luck any time of year!
Many of my top posts come from the 5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week series. I’m happy that this series has been so useful to all of you! And I love how it challenges me to think of new ways to save each week. There’s quite a long list of tips here, so if you missed any weeks and are looking for new ways to save (and who isn’t??) then be sure to look back through the series.
The top post of 2015 was So, When Are You Going Back to Work? If you’re a stay at home mom, you probably hear that question fairly often. This post is my personal response to that question.
Based on these posts, I’m guessing that you visit Medium Sized Family for money saving tips. You can definitely expect more of those coming up in 2016! Are there specific topics you’d like to read more about? Is there something that is a budget buster for you every time? Leave a comment and let’s talk about it!
