The hustle and bustle of the season is alive and well at our household!  It can be overwhelming sometimes, but with a plan in place we are trying to be more joyful than busy.

Since there are so many extra things to do right now, I’m trying to keep my expectations realistic so I don’t feel overwhelmed.

Here’s how we did last week:

Home/Barn

  • Deck the halls!
  • Declutter 5 bags of stuff  I don’t know if I can properly express how GREAT it feels to be rid of this stuff!!!

Money/Frugal Goals All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

Family Goals

  • Jesse tree for Advent  (Got this started, but having some trouble keeping up with it!)
  • Finish Baby’s First Christmas stocking   Did it!!
  • Make cookies

Blog Goals

  • Grow Twitter account to 300
  • Get a week ahead on posts  (I sure wish I’d done this…)

Personal Goals

  • Daily Bible readings
  • exercise 4 times
  • Finish reading Better Than Before and blog about it
  • Eat 5 fruits and/or veggies per day

Here are the goals for the week!

Home/Barn

  • Continue cleaning and declutter 3 more bags
  • Fix the dryer (Why don’t they break in nice weather so you can hang clothes easily??)

Money/Frugal Goals The best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today.

Family Goals

  • Jesse tree for Advent  (catch up/keep up)
  • Make cookies

Blog Goals

  • Grow Twitter account to 350
  • Get a week ahead on posts

Personal Goals

Moment of total honesty; I am doing just terribly with these goals!  I can’t seem to find a time I am willing to dedicate to making these things happen.  I need to want to do this more.

  • Daily Bible readings
  • exercise 4 times
  • Finish reading Better Than Before and blog about it
  • Eat 5 fruits and/or veggies per day

How do you create time to work on personal goals?  Do you schedule a time in your planner for exercise or reading?  I’d love your best tips…if you have blogged about this topic, be sure to leave me a link so I can learn from you.
