This crock pot cream cheese chicken chili has been a family favorite for years.
The kids devour it.
My husband requests it.
And me? Well I love anything that lets me throw frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot and still come out with a winner.

Frozen Or Thawed Chicken Breasts?
It doesn’t matter!
If I didn’t remember to thaw out the chicken breasts, I just throw them in frozen.
The only difference is that I cook everything on high for an hour or two before turning it down to low for the remainder of the time.
The Cream Cheese Chicken Chili Recipe
Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken Chili
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 can black beans 15 oz
- 2 c salsa
- 1 block cream cheese 8 oz
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion flakes
- tortilla chips
- chopped avocado
- sour cream
- black olives
Place chicken breasts in bottom of crock pot.
Add all ingredients to crock pot.
Cook on low 6-8 hours.
Shred chicken breasts with forks or immersion blender.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
You can use frozen chicken breasts in this recipe. If you do, cook on high for an hour before switching to the low setting for the remainder of your time.
