A Personal Journal

This journal for a Grandparent is perfect for that proud grandma or grandpa!

Let your parents write down memories and stories that they can pass on to their grandchildren.

In a way, it’s a selfish gift since it will be coming back to you eventually.

But most people enjoy sharing personal stories.  You’ll make them feel special, and let them know that you want to hear about their life.

If your giftee isn’t a grandparent, no worries!  This journal is called Mom, Share Your Life With Me.

She’ll probably get teary eyed, but that’s the sign of a good gift.  😉

Of course there’s one for Dad, too!

Magazine Subscriptions

Magazines are a fun gift because it’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year long.

It also won’t add to clutter, because your loved one can toss it when they are finished reading.

Don’t try to force them into a new hobby.  Be sure to find a magazine that matches their interests.

Amazon sells most magazine subscriptions, so you’ll find a wide variety here.

Not sure which magazine to get?  Reader’s Digest is full of fun and interesting stories, so it’s always a hit!

Plants

There’s something about having a living plant indoors.  Especially during a long winter or when you’re stuck inside (for whatever reason!).

These watering globes will make caring for those plants easier for your giftee.

Even if they don’t have the greenest thumb out there, there are plenty of hardy plants that are tough to kill.  Spider plant, wandering jew, or a hen and chicks plants are all great choices!

Gift Cards

Sometimes this one can feel like a bit of a cop-out, but if you are at a total loss as to what to get someone, most people do appreciate a gift card to their favorite store.

There are many ways to get gift cards for cheaper than face value…or even for free!

(Don’t worry, they’ll never know how much you spent!)

Nostalgia

Is there something they loved as a child?

Or maybe there’s something they always wanted, but never had the chance to own.

If you can figure out just the right gift that will bring back a jolt of nostalgia for your parents, chances are pretty good that you’ll be able to find that item on eBay.

If you can find an affordable version of the perfect nostalgia item, it’s sure to bring a smile to their face!

Maybe there’s a recipe you make that always gets rave reviews.  Why not go ahead and make it now?
