The Best Baked Oatmeal Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/4 c applesauce
  • 1/3 c butter, melted
  • 3 1/2 c quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c fruit (diced apples, pears, peaches, mashed bananas, cut berries,etc) Watch the amount and add more if it suits your taste.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Mix together the brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.

  3. Add vanilla and milk.

  4. Mix in eggs and applesauce.

  5. Cut butter into the mixture.

  6. Add the oats.

  7. Add fruit of your choice.

  8. Pour into greased 9"x13" casserole dish.

  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until nicely browned.
