Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

  • 10 medium apples, peeled and cubed (or about 10 cups)
  • 3 Tbsp sugar

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/2 c oats rolled preferred, quick will work
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c butter cold

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cut up your apples and spread them in a 9x13 dish.

  3. Sprinkle sugar over the apples.

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine topping ingredients: oats, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

  5. Cut in cold butter until you have a nice crumbly mixture.

  6. Sprinkle crumb topping over the apples, covering evenly.

  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  8. Best served warm with milk poured over it, or however your Grandma always served it. Also tastes great cold while hiding from the kids in a closet.
