Easy Apple Quick Bread

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 c canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Apples

  • 1 c diced apples peels may be left on or taken off, your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix your dry ingredients. (Flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.)

  3. In another bowl, stir together the wet ingredients. (Do not add the apples yet!)

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

  5. Stir just until combined.

  6. Add in your apples. Stir to distribute them evenly.

  7. Transfer into a greased 8 inch loaf pan.

  8. Bake for about one hour, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

  9. Allow to cool before removing from pan.

Recipe Notes

I have made this recipe with apple peels removed and with apple peels left on.  It tastes delicious either way.

My oven requires a 70 minute bake time, but many readers have said that it's closer to 60 minutes for them.
