This apple bread recipe is quick and easy. But you’ll love the rich, delicious flavor of this fall favorite.
Jump to RecipeVisiting an apple orchard has become a must do every fall.
And it was such a great deal for us, this year! We were able to pick apples for about $1 per pound.
Soooo, I came home with like 70 lbs of apples.
Yikes!
I mean, I had some ideas as to how I would use up 70 lbs of apples. But still! That’s a lot of apples!
Well, one MUST have for us this year was apple bread.
It is so full of flavor! Moist (sorry, but it’s the right word here) and delicious, it just tastes like the perfect fall snack.
Plus, you can throw it together in no time. And what mom can resist that?
The Best Apple Bread Recipe For Delicious Fall Flavor
The Easiest Way to Cut and Peel Apples
If you’re looking for the easy solution to all of that coring, peeling, and cutting up apples (and pears), this little tool is just for you. Easy to use, easy to clean, not to big for storing. I wouldn’t do fall without it!
Also, you can choose to leave the peels on or take them off.
Which is great, because either way works with this recipe!
So if you don’t want to peel your apples, or you like the flavor or health benefits of leaving the peel on, go for it!
This recipe is delicious with the peel still on.
How Can I Make This Apple Bread Recipe More Moist?
This recipe is delicious as is…but if you want to make it more moist, you can always melt butter and pour it over the top before you bake it.
Not the healthiest option, but delicious!!
Can I Freeze Apple Bread?
Sure you can! Just wrap it well in a couple of bread bags or plastic wrap with a layer of tin foil on the outside. You could also use a freezer bag.
It should keep well for up to 6 months!

Recipe Notes
I have made this recipe with apple peels removed and with apple peels left on. It tastes delicious either way.
My oven requires a 70 minute bake time, but many readers have said that it’s closer to 60 minutes for them.
