Save $10000 fast using this free printable chart. It’s a save $10,000 in 3 months challenge!

So I told you I had some exciting in the works for you…but I kinda lied.

I mean, I do think it’s exciting. But it’s also coming from a place of anxiety and worry (if I’m totally honest with you).

Eh, I guess I killed the mystery using a title like Save $10,000 Fast, right?

But you guessed it…that’s our BHAG (big, hairy, audacious goal) for 2022.

Funny enough, my Hubby and I thought our big hairy goal of finally adding on to our house in 2021 was going to be one of those life events you can celebrate, and then you can kind of chill out for a year or so.

Addition work, still in progress.

Life literally never works that way.

Here’s the story. As we were finishing up the big part of our home addition, we discovered that parts of our house that was built in the 1950s…

(stop me if you’ve heard this one)

…had massive damage.

Show stopping damage.

You can imagine how much the repair is going to cost.

A small sampling of what we’re facing with our old house.

Now, since we just jumped through so many hoops to pay for the home addition (you can find out how we paid for our home addition on a budget here), we really don’t have any spare cash lying around to cover this cost.

We have to find a way to save $10,000 in 3 months or so.

Seems nearly impossible!

But I’m not defeated yet.

Here’s where my BHAG for 2022 comes in….

Introducing $100 – 100x, The Best Way To Save $10,000 As Fast As You Want

Pin it for later!

What the heck is $100 – 100x?

Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like!

It’s a fun motto to show that we are going to save $100, 100 times.

Breaking this huge goal (saving $10,000 quickly) into more manageable chunks is the only way my brain can handle it.

And I’m not picky. I’ll take that $100 by putting together 4 chunks of $25, or I’ll cross off multiples for finding several hundred bucks at once.

Why Another Money Saving Chart?

I’ve always hated those plans where you have to save X amount of dollars on X day. Who’s life does that fit into??

That’s why (a few years ago) I invented my original money saving chart.

(Often imitated…but if you want the true original idea, here’s my simple money saving chart that will help you save $1,000 in 52 weeks.)

52 Week Money Challenge
The 52 Week Money Challenge That Will Easily Save You $1000 This Year

Well now, I knew this job was going to take a lot more work than my old handy dandy chart.

I also don’t think this job should wait 52 weeks.

So, after brainstorming a while, I came up with a chart that isn’t time bound.

By saving (or earning) $100, 100 different times, we should be able to save $10,000.

Do I think that will cover the costs? No, I do not. But I do think it will be $10,000 less we have to beg or borrow (I’m still above stealing. 😉 )

So for one thing, I created a chart. Because there’s nothing like crossing off little steps along the way.

It’s also a good visual for the whole family to keep us on track.

Where Will This $100 – 100x Come From?

Well, the honest answer is I don’t have one sure answer.

Instead, I have a lot of ideas that I’ll share going forward.

What I do know is that feeling anxious and hiding in the closet with ice cream is not going to solve the problem.

(I already tried that.)

I also know that we can’t just save our way into that kind of money, the way we did with our #yearofno. We’re definitely going to have to do some creative earning.

(Which makes now the perfect time to join the email list, so you’re sure to get those creative ideas. Join right now while you’re thinking about it!)

The chart is actually 4 pages long, with pages that will help you chunk smaller amounts, too. Because saving $10,000 is a massive goal!

How Would You Get Started On This Big Savings Goal?

Personally, if I didn’t already have a blog to run, I would be spending some time learning about selling on Amazon.

That’s because my sister started many months ago, and I’ve seen her have massive success in that business. So I know first hand it can be done!

There’s definitely a learning curve when it comes to this kind of selling. If you make a wrong move early in the process, you could find yourself banned. (Yikes.)

So I recommend you check out this FREE Amazon FBA Starter Course (for beginners) to get some excellent advice on the money you’ll need to fill out this chart with less hassle.

(This is basically me begging you to save up that $10,000 before something bites you and you have to scramble at the last minute like we’re facing.)
