5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week 44
Life has been a whirlwind of county fair followed by nearly a week of camping. I enjoy both, but boy is it stressful to keep everyone in line! It’s nice to be home again and thinking back over the ways we saved money lately.
Catch up with the entire 5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week series here.
5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week 43
Our family spent all of our time at the county fair last week, so I missed writing my 5 Ways post last Friday. But I hope you’re finding some inspiration from my 7 Ways to Pile Up Christmas Money series. Even if you’ve already got Christmas gifts covered (or maybe they’re unnecessary for your family), you can use those tips to reach another goal. So be sure to check it out!
If you’ve attended a fair, you already know that it’s not a cheap place to hang out! But we managed to find a few ways to save money while we were there.
5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week 42
We made it to another Friday. Some weeks, that’s a real success. Am I right?
Our last baseball player ended his tournament this week. So we have wrapped up yet another ball season. And just in time to get our 4-H critters to our county fair!
Life as mom isn’t boring, that’s the truth.
5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week 41
It’s a whole new week around here! Happy Frugal Friday. I hope you’ve had some successes in your spending (or more importantly, your saving!) this week.
Last week I had to admit that we’d had a rough, expensive week. We gradually fell off the wagon throughout June, and by last week I didn’t have much to celebrate in the way of savings.
The good news is that we recognized what was going on, and were able to make changes to get back on track with our #yearofno. We spent this week making sure we weren’t wasting hard earned money that had a job to do.
5 Ways We’ve Blown Money This Week
It’s Friday! That’s supposed to mean another edition of the 5 Ways We’ve Saved Money This Week series.
So all week I’ve been racking my brain, trying to think up any ways that we saved money this week. But the fact is that we didn’t. We totally fell off of the wagon.
We’re now halfway through our #yearofno. It’s probably natural that we’d have a rough time sticking to the plan at this point. We’ve been so good for most of the year. But old habits die hard!
Just because those old habits have reared their ugly heads doesn’t mean that we are giving up. I might need to reread my own advice about motivation, but I promise that we’ll be back to our saving ways next week. We’ve worked too hard to give it up now!
