Your Money, Your Marriage is the perfect book for couples who fight about money. Don’t risk your marriage! Put the practical advice in this book to work.
Tackling debt is a subject near and dear to my heart. Our family used our #yearofno motto to help us destroy tens of thousands of dollars worth of credit card debt. So anyone else who has fought hard against debt feels like an ally!
That’s part of what makes me such a fan of The Queen of Free. Cherie Lowe and her husband paid off $127,000 (!) in debt! And they managed to stay lovingly married through the fight.
You probably know that money fights are one of the leading causes of divorce. In fact, it’s likely something you’ve struggled with in your own marriage at one point or another.
There’s a new (to us) vehicle sitting in our driveway right now, which means I’ve official started baby shopping. 😉
With baby number 6 on the way, we’ve been on the hunt for an affordable 8 passenger car. It’s almost like seeing a unicorn to find something that seats 8 on a used car lot!
That means I’m feeling a bit of sweet relief over having this chore behind us.
Although…now we have to sell one of our other cars. So there’s that.
Have you started thinking about Christmas yet? Not in the way that you’re ready to see decorations in the store or listen to Christmas music, necessarily. (Can we celebrate at least Halloween first, please??)
I’m talking about mapping out a plan…maybe even buying some gifts!
Frugal folks are planners, so it’s time to start that plan!

Getting rid of cable leaves you with a ton of options for TV viewing. Cut through the confusion with these helpful charts and ideas!
This guest post was written by Katie of Living the Stream. Enjoy her money saving tips!!
In the spring of 2017, I looked at my cable bill. We were spending $224 per month on our cable and internet package. At the time, we had 3 kids under 5 and barely watched any TV (we were too tired!).
It was time to get rid of cable.
As I researched getting rid of cable and streaming TV, I was overwhelmed. There were streaming devices (couldn’t I just use my Smart TV?), streaming services, Netflix, Hulu (and Hulu Live? What’s the difference?), HBO Now vs. HBO Go.
I'm Jamie, and I want to help you afford a beautiful life with your family. Learn more.
