It seems like life has popped up a lot of unplanned events for us lately. Those are the things that make life what it is, right?
One sad event this past week was the fact that we lost our goat, Mike. We’d owned him for 5 years. He had trouble with his urinary tract and the vet said that there was nothing else he could do. It was tough to lose him! It’s the tough side of farm life that is so hard. RIP, Mike.
With the vet visits and dealing with all of that, it meant that some of our plans went undone. But hopefully this week will be more successful for us.
We were, happily, able to celebrate a very happy birthday for William, which means that he is really not a baby anymore. But he’s still my baby!
Here were last week’s plans:

We are nearing the end of the year (as far as time to meet those goals goes, anyway). How is your year shaping up? What are your goals this week?
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your goat. Wishing you a better week this week!
I hope you have a wonderful week. I love the weekly goals 🙂
Jamie, I saw the picture of the goat and had to read more. I think goats are so cute. And their milk is supposed to be healthier for humans than most cow’s milk. Thanks for sharing your practical tips. Blessings.
Thanks for visiting!
My weekly planning got a little messed up this week. But it’s not all lost. I just have to move things to different days.
Good luck with your schedule for next week.
Thanks for sharing it on #tiptuesday.
I have felt that way a lot lately. But marching on helps you accomplish at least small steps in the right direction.
So sorry for your loss. I love the way you break out your goals!
Thanks so much! I find it easier to accomplish stuff when I break it down like this.
So sorry about your goat – such a sweet face ☹
Good luck with this week’s goals and thank you for linking with #ShowcaseTuesday
Thanks!
Sad to read about your goat:(. You have some great goals–visiting from Funtastic Friday.
Thank you!
So sorry to hear about Mike. That’s so hard.
Good job getting part of your goals done & good luck on this week!
I’m so sorry to hear about Mike, Jamie. It’s hard to lose our animal friends. It’s great following you along as you make and achieve your goals, and always encourages me with mine! Thank you for sharing this post with us at the Hearth and Soul Hop.
