Happy Monday to you! Do you have the day off in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr? The kids are off of school and the hubby is home for the day here.
You’re probably tired of hearing about the baby goats by now, but it was a really exciting week for us here last week! In case you aren’t tired of it, be sure to “like” my Facebook page since I’ll likely do most of my goat baby pictures and videos over there. (But don’t be too surprised if the cuties make an occasional appearance here on the blog. 🙂 )
On Mondays I like to lay out my plans for the week. I look over my calendar to see what events and occasions we have happening in daily life. I also check out our big yearly goals to see what baby steps I can make this week to ease our way in the right direction.
First, let’s check in on last week’s goals and see how we did. I’m not surprised that I didn’t get too many of these things accomplished considering how much time the goats took.
Home/Barn
Set up pen for baby goats- Declutter part of master bedroom
- Make 2 breakfast meals from scratch (Only did 1)
- Earn 250 Swagbucks
Family Goals
- One on one time with kids
Attend parent meetings for school

- As it turns out, there is a library waiting list for The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, so I am unable to renew it. And now is not a great time for that book for me anyway. So I’m moving on to How to Blog for Profit Without Selling Your Soul. Excited about learning more about blogging, and really excited to finally use the Kindle I got for Christmas!
- Use my planner to bring a better work/home/life balance. I need to schedule time for blogging, housework, intentional time with the family (on top of going with the flow with them!), and down time for myself.
That should keep me pretty busy this week! How is your week shaping up? Do you have big or small goals you’d like to work towards? Let’s encourage one another!
I am looking forward to seeing more of the goats (and being able to show my mom, cuz she loves goats, ha!)!
I would also be interested to know how you’ve managed to grow your Twitter so quickly! I’ve tried a few different things and just…I dunno, I think I’m doing it wrong, ha!
I was sooo confused by Twitter for a long time. I read this article, and then a few weeks later I went back and read it again. It really made all the difference for me! It’s not complicated if you know what you’re doing. http://www.momresource.com/twitter-for-beginners/
Thank you! I “understand” Twitter, for the most part, but obviously not the part about growing your following, ha! xD
And I am looking forward to that video, woo! 😀
Oh! And I’ll be posting another video to Facebook this afternoon, so be sure to check it out!
