An Open Letter to Moms of All Ages: This is the Hard Part

Inside: Being a Mom is no picnic! But the moment you have a child, you become a sister in the motherhood sorority. This is my open letter to moms.

There’s something special about being a mom.  It’s like an all inclusive sorority.  If you put two moms in a room together, it won’t be long until they are talking about the joys and struggles of being a mother.

Today I want to salute you, my fellow Mommys.  We’re in this together!

An Open Letter to Moms

A sweet open letter to moms just in time for Mother's Day!

Dear Mom Who Is Still Pregnant,

You are just learning what being a Mom is all about.  You’re reading everything you can get your hands on.  Learning how to diaper your baby without going broke.  Should you bottle feed or breast feed?  What type of pediatrician should you be looking for, and how can your body possibly get any bigger than it feels right now?

How To End The Battle Of The Clean Kid’s Bedroom

Tired of picking up toys every day? It’s a constant battle to keep a small kids room clean. Here’s how to fix it.

You are desperately Googling for fun activities, because if you Google the words running through your mind you are afraid you’ll wind up on a list somewhere.

While I’d love to offer you another cup of coffee and some chocolate pie, the internet has its limitations.

But what I can give you is a treasure trove of ideas to do when you are stuck inside.

How to Handle the Terrible Twos

How to Handle the Terrible Twos

The baby of our family recently turned two years old.

(I suppose that means that I am not really supposed to be calling him a baby anymore. But let’s be honest… it’ll be years before we stop calling him “the baby”!)

It also marks the fifth time our family has navigated the “terrible twos”.

Two year olds are something else!

You’re so proud of the many things they have learned to do on their own.  They are really starting to grow up.

6 Reasons You Should Not Have a Big Family

6 Reasons You Should Not Have a Big Family

Since we already talked about 10 Reasons to Have a Big Family, today we are going to talk about reasons you should NOT have a big family.  I’ve heard them all!

Please keep in mind that this is a rather tongue in cheek style post.  I realize that big family life is not for everyone, and each family must decide what is best for them.  But… when you have a large family, you hear these comments rather often.  Amirite?
