Last week I posted some goals for myself. Here’s where you hold me accountable! I didn’t do as well as I might have hoped, because I came down with a bad head cold that knocked me out for a couple of days. Oh well, it’s a new week to try again!
Here are last week’s goals:
Home Goals
paint the front doorSee more here.- clean the porch and get ready for fall decor: Didn’t happen due to several large wasp nests on the porch!
fix the back doorFinally finished and working great!!- repair and rehang the gate for the goat pen (ok, so that’s a barn to do)
- repair and rehang the gate for the back yard Waiting on specialty hinges coming in the mail.
Money/Frugal Goals
- make 2 homemade frugal breakfasts
get more uncomfortable/plan ahead betterplant a lettuce bowlSee more here.Family Goals
have a date night with hubby, even if it has to be a home date- take 2 kids out for one on one time
Blog Goals
write 5 postsreach 60 Facebook followersYou guys rock!! We blew this one out of the water and I now have 80+ Facebook followers!read 6 posts by other bloggers per day so I can learn from othersPersonal Goals
I am terrible at doing things for myself! I want to be more proactive in this area for sure.
get 8 hours of sleep at least 5 nights- walk 10,000 steps 3 days
- make an eye doctor appointment I had to reschedule when I got sick.
Here are this week’s goals:
Home Goals: I like to walk through the house and figure out what a realtor would tell me to do in order to sell the house. Then I do it for our own family instead!
- Clean the front porch (assuming wasp removal!)
- Paint front bench
- Repair back gate (assuming hinges arrive)
- Finish installing zipline
- Clean up and prepare for guests
Money/Frugal Goals: We are trying to pay off debt. (sigh!) For ways we’ve saved money this week, check this out.
- make 2 homemade gluten free breakfasts (we are trying our 10 year old on a GF diet)
- plant more fall foods
- earn 300 Swagbucks (Am I the only one who either uses their SB account all the time or totally forgets about it? Never in the middle.)
Family Goals:
- Spend time with hubby
- Spend time as a family at the company picnic
- Celebrate my birthday!
Blog Goals: I launched this blog a little over a month ago! I’m pretty happy with the growth so far.
- Write 5 posts
- Add 50 pins to my Pinterest boards (If you’re a blogger and you have a great pin to share, leave it in the comments!)
- Read 5 articles on blogging tips
Personal Goals: My biggest weakness is doing things for myself.
- make it to my eye doctor appointment this week!
- walk 10,000 steps 3 days
- finish reading Boundaries

Great goals! I am working on the steps goal as well. We recently switched over to GF diet, and I am still learning how to cook for it but it gets easier every week.
I am surprised at how many things he is still able to eat that are GF. It helps that he likes salads.
