It seems like life has popped up a lot of unplanned events for us lately. Those are the things that make life what it is, right?
One sad event this past week was the fact that we lost our goat, Mike. We’d owned him for 5 years. He had trouble with his urinary tract and the vet said that there was nothing else he could do. It was tough to lose him! It’s the tough side of farm life that is so hard. RIP, Mike.

Last week we wanted to get several things done around our house. When our house learned of the plan, it gave out a giant laugh and told its house friends “Hey y’all! Watch this!”
And then we spent the entire week trying to deal with kitchen sink and plumbing problems.

We had another one of those weeks here. I had various sons sick at home all week long. We also had pretty crumby weather, although I can’t really complain since we were only chilly and wet. (No danger to our home or loved ones here! We’re praying for those of you who live in hurricane troubled areas.)
