These easy lists for moms are a must have when it comes to keeping track of it all.
My phone beeped with another text and I gave it a quick check.
With four kids playing baseball and softball (plus a preschooler along for the ride), there’s always something to add to my to do list. A last minute practice, a rained out game, concession stand duty…
This time it was a note that one of our games was rescheduled for this Thursday.
Which was good, I guess. We needed to get these games in!
But it also meant that we now had to be in four different locations at the same time. Yikes!
It’s hard to keep track of everyone’s schedule, especially once your kids are school aged. Everyone has products due, places to be, and it’s never easy to remember to schedule appointments and meetings.
Most Moms can’t keep it all together without some type of system in place.

Do you feel like a scatterbrained homemaker? These homemaking blogs are perfect for finding the best tips that will work for your family.
All my life I dreamed of being a stay at home mom.
But when I first married my husband, he wasn’t finished with college yet. Which meant that I had to be the breadwinner for a while.
We had two baby boys just 16 months apart. All while I was working and he was doing college and a part time job.
That was one of the hardest parts of my life. Trying to juggle everything made me feel like I was failing at work, as a mother, and with our home.
And I was so blessed and excited when I was finally able to quit my job! That happened the same summer that baby #3 came along.
Except that quitting my job wasn’t exactly the magic wand I expected it to be.
Oh believe me, I loved being home with my babies. But boy was it an adjustment.
I remember sitting down at the computer and searching for help with keeping up with everything.
The first website I came across was Flylady. It changed my life!
With her baby steps, I was able to create a plan for cleaning the house and organizing our busy lives. Don’t get me wrong…I didn’t do everything the way she prescribed it.
Hey, my house is a lot different than her’s. And I bet yours is, too.
We’re moms…we tweak things until they work for us.

Add your own special touch to show love for your Mama with these verses for Mothers Day cards! Loving, funny, poetry…it’s all here!
When I was in second grade, my Sunday school teacher gave each child in her class a one dollar bill. She told us that we should use that money to go to the grocery store and choose some food for the poor.
It was a lesson in helping others.
When I got home, I told my Mom about the assignment. After that, she was on a mission!
By the time we got done shopping, I had a paper bag half filled with groceries for the price of a dollar.
Granted, this was the ’80s, so my dollar stretched further than it would today. But the truth is that my Mom knew how to pinch a penny. She’s one of the most frugal people I know.
This woman raised five kids on what would be considered a meager income…but we never knew the difference. While we didn’t get the fancy shoes and trips that some of our friends had, it was really a life lesson of need versus wants.
My Mom is a pretty amazing person. She has more energy than most people my own age!
She bends over backwards to help people whenever she can. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!

You’re so tired of caving to every little temptation. But you don’t know how to develop self control! These 5 tips will change your thinking in no time
Have you heard of the marshmallow experiment?
The basic idea is that they put kids into a room and set a marshmallow in front of them.
Then, they promised the kids that if they let the marshmallow sit there for fifteen minutes without eating it, they would get a second marshmallow.
Some kids were able to stare at that delicious marshmallow for the full time and resist the temptation.
Others, of course, popped that delicious morsel right into their mouths, too caught up by their impulses to wait for the reward.
Well, those researchers followed those kids for 40 years to see how their ability to resist instant gratification played out in their lives.
As it turns out, that was the key to nearly everything. According to the study (here), the “resister” kids “achiev[ed] higher scholastic performance and cop[ed] better with frustration and stress.”
Who doesn’t want that for their kids???
But even if you are 100% certain your kids would have been in that group that grabbed the marshmallow as soon as the door closed, that’s ok.
There are things you can do as a parent to improve their self control skills.

I was standing at the bathroom sink in a pee soaked shirt, brushing my teeth. I desperately wanted a shower. Instead, I was listening for the 3 year old who had, by my calculations, a 50/50 chance of throwing up before I could even start the water.
The germs had infested our home. Your garden variety stomach bug had hit some of us. A nasty sore throat/respiratory illness was going through the rest of us.
Moms take a vow, sometimes unbeknownst to us, that we will never be sick. Even when the germs hit us, we can’t fully take time off to get better. Especially when our family is feeling awful and relying on us to take even better care of them than usual.
