Fall is the perfect time to fill your menu with pumpkin and apple flavored everything. They’re in season (which makes them affordable) and the flavors just scream “fall is here!”
So you can bet you’ll find those ideas here!
Meal planning always saves me both time and money. I enjoy meal planning for 2 weeks at a time, because that means I don’t have to sit down and make my plan every single week.
Happy Meal Planning Monday! I totally fell off of the meal planning wagon for a month or so. It happens every so often. But it never takes very long before I miss my menu plan and get back to making one.
Not because I love planning. (I don’t!) But because I hate choosing what meal I’m going to throw together every single day.
Late July in our house means it’s time to get ready for our county fair. It’s a busy time, and that requires simple meals. During the fair, we will end up eating out of the back of our van quite a bit. We do a lot of PB&J sandwiches. We will also likely eat at the fair at least one meal. (We have constant shows all day Monday.)
Welcome to meal planning Monday! If you’re one of the happy few people who enjoy meal planning, that’s excellent. Hopefully my ideas will spark some new ideas for you.
If you don’t enjoy meal planning (put me in this category), try to do it anyway. Future you will thank present you for putting in the work now rather than making all of those decisions day in and day out.
Welcome to meal planning Monday! The best part about doing meal plans on a 2 week basis is that I only have to fuss with this job twice a month or so. In the past I have even done my meal planning and shopping on a monthly basis, but it just isn’t practical in this season of life. So every 2 weeks it is!
